This is Özlem.
I work with Thai massage and manual therapy, teaching and practicing internationally.
I combine the traditional Thai massage lineage with a therapeutic approach, body mechanics and a functional understanding of movement and I pass this knowledge on through structured training programs.
In 2018, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I began my path in Thai massage after completing
an intensive training at Sunshine Massage School.
This experience shaped not only my practice, but also the way I understand and teach Thai massage:
not as a flow or a collection of positions,
but as a structured body practice built on clear cause-and-effect relationships.
After my initial training, I continued practicing professionally for many years.
Working with different bodies informed the way I teach —
helping me define safe boundaries, clarity of touch,
and realistic, sustainable methods for long-term practice.
In 2023, I returned to Thailand to deepen my work in abdominal techniques
and tissue-release approaches with a neuro-Thai focus.
During the same period, I worked with Ajarn Pichet Boonthumme,
integrating deeper layers of traditional Thai massage
into both my sessions and my teaching.
In 2025, I returned once again to the school where I first began learning,
this time to receive instructor training and work as an assistant.
In the same year, I worked with Ajarn Sinchai Sukparset,
one of the most respected figures in therapeutic Thai massage,
and was certified as one of the limited number of students he accepts.
My teaching is not intuitive or random.
Rather than focusing on memorization, I guide students toward developing the ability to read the body, understand why touch works,
and use their own body efficiently and safely.
The aim is not to apply more force, but to create clearer and deeper effects
through correct positioning, leverage, and rhythm —
with less effort and greater precision.
The core values that shape my trainings are professionalism, clear boundaries, safe touch,
and a sustainable body practice.
